2020 Coronavirus Special Notice:

Ohio Resident Concealed Carry Licensees: there is current legislation waiting for the Governor's signature which will extend the expiration date of Ohio Concealed Handgun Licenses for 90 days if the expiration date falls during the state of emergency (not to exceed December 1, 2020).

New Mexico Resident Concealed Carry Licensee: in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, as a precautionary measure the New Mexico Department of Public Safety, Law Enforcement Records Bureau, has authorized extending the grace period to renew a Concealed Carry Permit license after expiration date, from 60 days to 120 days. This extension ONLY applies to licenses that expired on or after March 16, 2020, and only applies to the renewal of an application. However, be reminded that: pursuant to NMAC … “If the license has expired, a licensee shall not carry a concealed handgun until he or she receives a renewed license.”

This extension for renewing expired licenses does not apply to licenses that expired before March 16, 2020; and those that would be suspended or revoked pursuant to the New Mexico Concealed Carry Handgun Act. Licenses that expired on or before March 15, 2020, are still covered by the 60-day period before and after the expiration date to renew the license, as provided by the Concealed Carry Handgun Act. However, if required, management will review on a case-by-case basis."

Classes have resumed in both Ohio and New Mexico, however state and facility policies regarding precautions must be followed where applicable.

Classes for Everyone

We train all persons who are legally eligible to own firearms. In our classes you will find people from all walks of life, responsibly armed private citizens, members of law enforcement, and the military as well. We are also happy to instruct youth shooters with a legal guardian present.

Why should I bother with professional training?

Many people obtain just enough training to meet their state’s minimum requirement to obtain a concealed carry permit. This is a good starting point, but there are numerous benefits to be gained by continuing your training. Competent training involves more than simple marksmanship; it involves developing the proper mindset, creating muscle memory and familiarity with your chosen weapons system as well as learning the proper techniques and methods that make practice time more effective. Ammunition, travel, time, etc all have a cost, why not get the most benefit from every round fired?

Where do you train?

We have instructors in Northwest Ohio near Toledo and Northern New Mexico near Los Alamos. We conduct most of our training classes at shooting club ranges or hosted ranges. The location of the class will be listed with the class date and time on the class description. When you sign up for a class, you will receive a confirmation email with specific directions to the training location and other particulars.

Private Training

We are happy to work with small groups or even individuals to develop and conduct private training. This has proven popular with families, corporations or groups of like minded individuals who wish to customize their learning experience.

This is a great way to mix disciplines and take your shooting to the next level. Please contact us directly if you wish to discuss this possibility.
